Jardí de Creences is a collaborative living project developed across four sites in Vic: the exhibition venue and three spaces connected to religious communities.
The project brings together botanical research, local memory and plants associated with different religious traditions. The species are not separated by confession. They coexist within the same garden, allowing relations to emerge through proximity, growth, competition, care and time.
One part of the project works with spontaneous vegetation as botanical memory; another creates a multiconfessional garden from selected seeds and plants. A wooden cabinet stores seeds, labels and gardening tools, functioning simultaneously as archive, working device and sculptural object.
The work grows through collaboration with local communities and through the practical conditions of cultivation: soil, germination, maintenance, failure and seasonal change. Belief appears here not as an abstract category but as something rooted in living material and shared care.
