Starting from the idea of mil flors honey — a honey made from the pollen of many different plant species — I asked botanist Carles Burguera to spend six months collecting seeds from one thousand different plants.
The seeds were sown in a plot in front of Fundació Joan Miró. More than 250 species germinated and coexisted there for approximately a year, while the garden’s growth and transformations were followed.
The handwritten list of the thousand plants forms part of the project as a record of collection, classification and possibility.
